Day 21 - Las Vegas to San Diego

As I said before no details from Vegas but it was a good time.  We arrived safely in San Diego. Over the last three weeks we traveled 5200 miles (We actually have put 10,000 miles on Chris' car since we started driving it in November).  We also traversed 16 states. I can't imagine having made this trip with anyone else but my best friend - Ron.  We have seen many magnificent sights and have made memories for a lifetime.  It has been a fantastic experience - what a way to kick off retirement!  To top it off we get a chance to visit with Christine for at least a week.  We haven't made our return plane reservations yet. 

We brought many things that Chris didn't have room for when she moved out here so we will spend the next few days helping her settle in again. She has a really nice place. I'll just update as we take some side trips - I think that we'll be happy to stay out of the car for at least a couple of days.
