Day 1 - Pittsburgh

After a brief stop to see both of our parents, we began our cross country journey.  Our first stop was Pittsburgh.  We had a windy, snowy start but we know that will make us appreciate the southern experience that much more.  At about 1:00 we arrived at the Ashbridges and had the added bonus of being able to see Sharon again. A tour of Carole and Earle’s lovely home showed us that they are indeed settled and enjoying the Pittsburgh experience and all that it has to offer. We were given an overall tour of the Pittsburgh area with more sites to see in the next few days.  The evening held a delicious dinner and time to catch up with dear friends.
