Day 8 - Epcot

A little late in posting this but better late than never. Our last day at Disney was at Epcot.  They didn't open until 9:00 so we had a slightly later start.  The park was very busy though.
In the morning we enjoyed the Nemo ride, Soaring and Mission Space.
We also had fish and chips in England.

The boys also enjoyed playing in the playground and making music by jumping on the squares.

Of course since it was busy there is always fun while waiting in line.

Ron and I stayed and toured Epcot while the rest of the crew went back for their naps.

We went back to the Magic Kingdom for dinner and a few more rides. It was time for us to say "good-bye" to Disney.

We will always have our memories - Here's one I won't forget - I'll call it cousin hugs.

Day 7 - Disney's Animal Kingdom

Today started off sunny but quite cool.  We seem to be attracting record low temperatures wherever we go.  Despite the cool, we had another great day.  You can see everyone is bundled up.

Brayden loved the triceratops ride and we went on it 4 times - once while the other adults rode Mt. Everest - the roller coaster. I did get some pix of the coaster riders but it was on Colleen's camera.

The boys were very interested when we went on the African Safari ride.  There were all kinds of animals for them to see.

We had a delicious lunch of BBQ ribs and chicken and enjoy the show "It's a tough to be a bug.'  We left the park by 1:00 though since we had tired children who were ready for naps.  Cooper slept though whenever and wherever the mood struck him.

Tonight Eric, Col, Chris and Vesna will go to Epcot while the Grandparents babysit.  Tomorrow, our last day at Disney will be at Epcot!

See you then.

Day 6 - Disney's Hollywood Studios

Another "funtastic" Disney day at Hollywood Studios.  We started early again - at the park by 7:00.

We went to the Toy Story Ride, the Rockin' Roller coaster, the Tower of Terror, and the movie ride just to name a few.

We had lunch in an old fashion drive-in sitting in seats like cars.  After lunch we took the boys home for a nap.

At 5:00 we returned to Downtown Disney and the boys tried their hand at bowling at Splittsville.  From there we went to see the lego statues.  Ryan is a real fan.  Brayden was mesmorized by the lego dragon that he thought was the Mighty Sea Dragon from his favorite movie  - Reef 2 - a present from GG's Hochmuth.

We left the park at about 8:45 with a car full of happy but tired boys tomorrow we take on Animal Kingdom.

Here is our group shot for the day.

Day 5 - Magic Kingdom

It was truly a magical day at Magic Kingdom.  Believe it or not all 12 of us were up and at Magic Kingdom before it opened at 7 am.You can see how it looks this early in the morning.
We were quite the crew with Colleen in a wheel chair, a double stroller and a regular stroller but we had a great time.  We hit all the rides that the kids wanted to go on i.e. Winnie the Pooh, the Magic Carpet, Peter Pan, Thunder Mountain etc.

The kids also got to see some of their favorite Disney characters and have their pictures taken with them.  Brayden was so enthralled by Buzz Lightyear that he couldn't take his eyes off of him.  Peter Pan was a big hit too.

Colleen had made t-shirts for all of us so we posed for a picture on our way out of the park.  We spent the morning and had lunch there and then went back to Fort Wilderness.  Luckily we were in the RV or cabin when the severe thunderstorms came through.  There were tornado warnings just north of us but we just decided that it was a good time for happy hour and enjoyed ourselves until the bad weather passed.

It is another early morning tomorrow.  We will meet the kids at 6:30 since the park opens at 7:00 so I'll close for now.

Day 4 - Disney

Today we were up bright and early ready to take on Disney. We drove to Fort Wilderness and met up with Bob and Colleen. They were able to get us a pass into Fort Wilderness so that we could go to the parks with them.  We first took the boat to the Contemporary Hotel and from there took the monorail to Magic Kingdom.

We wanted to get our tickets so that we could have an early start at the park on Sunday. The kids were pretty tired since they had gotten in late the night before so we just went back to the campground.  The boys absolutely loved the kiddie pool and didn't want to get out.  Brayden was up and down the slide until he was spent.

They went home for naps and the adults had happy hour and watched some March Madness.  We had a delicious dinner at the Cabin and went home early to get ready for a day at Magic Kingdom tomorrow.  The park opens at 7:00. So we are meeting the group at 6:30.  It's time to pack and get to bed for our early rise tomorrow.
